Sabreen Taha

About Me

Hi, I’m Sabreen Taha, a journalist and video producer from Jerusalem, based in Washington, D.C.

With more than a decade of experience across the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S., I produce news, documentaries, and podcasts. I’m currently a Video Producer at Agence France-Presse, covering breaking news, politics, diplomacy, and security for global distribution.

I started in Jerusalem as a producer at Reuters and Al Jazeera english, then led Sowt Podcasts as Head of Podcasts, where I created Dom Tak, and produced multilingual podcasts at Yasmin Kollektiv. My film credits include Field Producer on the Peabody-winning, Emmy-nominated documentary The Judge and Production Coordinator on Inshallah Walad, Jordan’s Oscar submission.

I hold an MA in Film and Media Production from the New York Film Academy as a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA in Media and Journalism from Birzeit University. I work in Arabic, English, and Hebrew.

My work across agencies and networks has allowed me to amplify underrepresented voices and bring global stories to life.

I’m always eager to collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of storytelling and make a real impact.

Let’s connect!

Sabreen is a warm sensitive and hard working person. She is dedicated to the concept of using media for improving society and is a professional when it comes to working on a media report. She is keen on video and social media and when she worked with us she excelled in both. I highly recommend her

I have worked with Sabreen for almost 5 years and she never stopped pushing and looking forward on how to develop her career. She is cool especially when working under pressure. In an agency the producer has multitasks and big responsibilities to deliver stories, Sabreen was doing great in finding stories and deliver them. She left for an MA and I am sure now she has great experience and I highly recommend her in the production and media business.

Sabreen is diligent journalist with integrity. Cool under pressure and able to produce, fix, edit and prepare next day's story while delivering on today's. Her language skills complemented her abilities to open doors and interview the right people at the right time. While working with her I learned a lot in terms of new locations, deeper knowledge of reporting in the Palestinian Territories and Israel and how to present a range of complex social, economic and political issues to an international audience. A determined and compassionate journalist who I value enormously.

Sabreen is a delight to work with, enthusiastic and eager to work, learn and develop. A delightful person and on-point professional
